Flav grew up in Calabria, Italy, Acquappesa to be exact. He set his sights on moving to America early in life, so at the age of 18 he moved to Staten Island, NY where he learned both the English language and how to run a food business, literally at the same time. He would not be where he is today without the support of his entire family back home in Italy as well as his mother’s American side of the family, the Acquestas.

He met his wife Ana in 2014 while both were working in the Empire State Building. They now live in Waxhaw, NC with their boss Vinny, (a doodle) and a baby girl that arrived in April 2023.

The memories of our beloved family members that are watching us from above are with us every day as we turn this little dream of ours into reality. Uncle Joe, Mama Sara, Big John, there is always a special table reserved just for you.
